So my sister told me that that her flight to New York in January is finally confirmed. She said it will only be a week long but I was actually pretty jealous because I really REALLY want to go to NY too now that I have a job and I can finally splurge my hard earnings on things I want to get for myself. #USELESSspendingHABITS I tell you.

I wouldn't complain though since I just went to NY a few months ago. Though it will truly make happy if I can go back and see the pretty lights of Time Square again and the yellow cabs in their roads.

Nah. I just want better pictures of NY with me. :-(

"Lost Generation" is a poem written by Jonathan Reed which originally made its appearance as an entry to the AARP's U@50 Video Contest. This is probably one of the most depressing and pessimistic piece I have ever read but as you read this poem all the way to the end, you will find the catch. You will have to read the poem from the last sentence in reverse order. Read it and be inspired.
I’m a part of Lost Generation
and I refuse to believe that
I can change the world
I realize this may be a shock but
“Happiness comes from within”
is a lie, and
“Money will make me happy”
So in thirty years I’ll tell my children
They are not the most important thing in my life
My employer will know that
I have my priority straight because
Work
Is more important than
Family
I tell you this
Once upon a time
Families stay together
But this will not be true in my era
This is a quick fix society
Experts tell me
Thirty years from now I will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of my divorce
I do not concede that
I will live in a country of my own making
In the future
Environmental destruction will be the norm
No longer can it be said that
My peers and I care about this earth
It will be evident that
My generation is apathetic and lethargic
It is foolish to presume that
There is hope
And all of this will come true unless we reverse it.

When me and my sister came inside the chapel last Saturday, it was so dark but there were some areas by the window where the lighting just looked too incredibly awesome to ignore. That's why even though I didn't have my slr, I just used my phone to take a photo of it anyway. I still have more shots but I didn't get to transfer all of them from my phone yet so this picture will suffice for now.

Forever 19

They're not film shots but I need these posted here. :-)

Yesterday, me and my friend had a joint birthday celebration at Buca. It was great because it has been a looong time since we all got together again as a group. But anyway, it was only until I got home and felt this really bad stomach ache and I was just like, "Oh God, why me?". So I went to the hospital for emergency and needed to stay there overnight. I honestly don't know what else happened the rest after that but I got out of the hospital this morning at around 2pm.

For some reason, I hope I stayed at the hospital just a little longer.

Playing around with blacks and whites (mostly black)

I'm just going to leave these two here before I review for my tests and totally forget about this.

These are basically the last batch of photos I have because I still need to print 3 (or 4) more rolls once I get my paycheck this weekend. I used Fujifilm Superia ISO 200 in the last photos I posted and for this one also. I really wonder how the iso 400 ones will come out though. I think those of you guys who live in Hawaii can totally tell where I took all these pictures. Most of these are basically taken at Market City area, Convention Center, and here at KCC (lol yeaaah). But hey! Prepare yourselves for a lot of Waikiki beach shots soon!

Here's a preview of the second roll! It was supposed to be posted last week but I didn't have the time to scan all of them and my schedule was kind of hectic too since I just got a job. But here you go! Hopefully when I get my first paycheck, I can get my other 2 rolls of films printed and finally have them copied into a cd so I don't have to scan each of them. I can't wait until I get the money to actually buy an slr bag and a lens cap too~ My Hachiko AE-1P will surely be delighted~ I'm not sure if I can finish my 3rd roll though but I'm going to try my best to get the opportunity to bring my slr when I go out this Sunday. :-)
